Just over six weeks into our reopening and reassuringly The Clachan Grill is outwardly ‘back to normal’. In addition to our already established table d’hote menu, we are trialling a new lunch menu which is available from 3pm until 5pm and have refurbished our patio area for our customers to enjoy alfresco dining, as weather permits.
Like all hospitality companies, our staff are the lifeblood of the business. Although initially a little apprehensive at returning after such a long time, they have reopened The Clachan with gusto. We fortunately retained our long serving members of staff and have welcomed new team members into the Clachan community. The support from our loyal customers has been overwhelming and we are also delighted to be serving new customers, many visiting Royal Deeside for the first time to enjoy a staycation in our beautiful area. We are always looking to recruit new people to the Cranberry Co. family, so if you happen to have friends or relatives looking for part time or full time roles in the restaurant business, please get in touch. It really is a rewarding career.
The desire of so many to support the hospitality trade has been fantastic, all of us at The Clachan are certainly very grateful for this support – thank you.
From today (Wednesday 16th June 2021) we are delighted to welcome Rocksalt & Snails who will be operating from our bar area and newly formed outside courtyard. The products and service they provide would have been greatly missed from the village and we are delighted to have been in a position to lend support to this fantastic eatery. Their brunch and all-day menu certainly complements our offering at the Clachan perfectly. We will continue into the evening to provide visitors and local alike a great selection of beers, wines and cocktails along with cheese or charcuterie boards for those who fancy a snack.
As the season progresses we shall keep you all appraised of what is happening at The Clachan along with changes to the menus from our creative kitchen team. For those yet to visit us, we hope to see you in the coming weeks and months – for all others, haste ye back!
